Hi, and welcome to a website dedicated to my own personal view of personal technology. I’m going to share with you my setups for the iPhone, Mac and Google. I’ll walk you through my favourite apps, and how I use all these gadgets to get things done.
I’ll give you my 50,000 ft view – Apple iPhone, running with Google Sync. Mac running OS X Lion – but again with my contacts in the cloud on Google’s servers.
Why should you listen to me? Well I hope you’ll see why by reading my articles. If my background is important to you, I grew up in West Yorkshire, which if you don’t know is in the north of England.
I went to a pretty ordinary school, and decided to go to a pretty ordinary University to study Computer Science. I was lured into the world of money and have put my computing skills to use at two major financial institutions.
During all this it’s been a love of computers, my first was an Amstrad CPC464, and gadgets that keep me entertained in my spare time.
Whilst a University I also discovered Aikido. I’m now lucky enough to teach and have my own club in Bristol.
My first and last love though is my wife and now daughter. So my spare time has been squeezed slightly. That’s why getting things done more efficiently has become ever so important.
